About the Presidential Learning Center

Presidential Learning Center was founded by me, Sterlin Scott, the owner, visionary, and proud President of our preschool. From the age of five, I knew I wanted to own a childcare center. Growing up, I would play “daycare” with my cousins and brother, and even then, I understood that I was born to be a childcare provider.

 

​As a teacher in Duval County Public Schools, I have dedicated my career to educating and inspiring scholars. Becoming an educator has always been a lifelong dream, and I am grateful to be part of this community of childcare providers.

 

The name “Presidential Learning Center” reflects both prestige and purpose. In high school, I was often called “Mr. President” as the senior class president, and I once dreamed of becoming the President of the United States. While God had other plans, He blessed me with the opportunity to be the President of my own preschool.

 

At the heart of our mission and vision is the belief that every child has unlimited potential. My role is to teach each child that they can grow up to be anything they want to be, even the President of the United States. No dream is too big or too small; with persistence, determination, and confidence, every child can achieve greatness.
